Custom web applications for businesses

When a template or a generic SaaS forces your business to adapt to the software instead of the other way around, a custom web application is usually the better option. I design and build platforms, admin panels and internal tools around how you actually work.

I have spent more than 7 years building business software: backend systems, databases, integrations and ERP systems in production. That experience is the foundation of every application I build.

Usual stack: Python · FastAPI · PostgreSQL · Next.js · Docker

What I can build

Software that solves a specific problem in your business and can be maintained and extended over time.

01

Admin panels and internal tools

Applications to manage clients, orders, inventory or any process that currently lives in spreadsheets, emails or paper.

02

Custom web platforms

Digital products with users, permissions and their own business logic, from the database to the interface.

03

Booking systems

Online bookings with availability, validation and their own storage, integrated into the business website without relying on third-party platforms.

04

Integrations and automation

Connecting your website, your tools and external services through APIs, so data flows without being copied by hand.

How I work

What years of business software have taught me, applied to every project.

  1. Process first, code second

Before suggesting any technology, I understand how your business works today and which part of the process we want to improve. It is what I have been doing for years on ERP projects.

  2. Decoupled, maintainable architecture

Separate frontend, API and database, so each part can evolve without breaking the others and the project can grow.

  3. Reliable data

Client and server-side validation, a relational database and clear errors. Your business data must never be silently corrupted.

  4. Real deployment and delivery

Docker environments, production deployment and enough documentation for the application to be maintained and extended.

Bookings, integrations and automation

Many businesses do not need a large platform, but to solve one specific task: accepting online bookings without depending on a third-party app, syncing orders between two systems or no longer copying data by hand between tools.

It is the kind of problem I have worked on for years in ERP environments: REST API integrations, webhooks, automated processes and reports. For La Dolce Pizza, for example, I built a booking system with its own API and database, integrated into the restaurant website.

  • Online bookings with validation and their own storage
  • REST API and webhook integrations
  • Automation of repetitive tasks
  • Data synchronisation between platforms
  • Custom reports and exports

Frequently asked questions

When is a custom application worth it instead of a SaaS?

When the process is an important part of how your business works or competes, when you pay for several tools that do not talk to each other, or when you are adapting the way you work to the limits of the software. If an existing SaaS solves the problem well, I will tell you.

Which technologies do you use?

Mainly Python (FastAPI) and PostgreSQL on the backend, Next.js or Astro on the frontend and Docker for deployment. I choose the stack per project, favouring stable technologies that are easy to maintain.

Can it integrate with the tools I already use?

Usually yes, if the tool offers an API or an export mechanism. Integrating systems is a core part of my professional experience, including ERPs such as Odoo.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. I am based in Granada, Spain, and work remotely in Spanish or English. Meetings happen by video call and project follow-up is continuous.

How do we start?

Tell me about the problem you want to solve; you do not need a technical specification. From there I suggest an approach and, if it fits, a detailed proposal split into phases.

Let's talk about your project

If a process has outgrown your current tools, or you have an idea for a tool for your business, tell me about it. I reply personally.
