I'm Carlos Morales, a software engineer based in Granada, Spain.

My professional background is strongly connected to ERP development and Odoo, but my work goes beyond a single platform. I build backend systems, web applications and integrations designed around real business requirements.

I enjoy understanding how a company operates, translating complex processes into software and creating solutions that remain reliable and maintainable after delivery.

My path into software engineering

I started studying Computer Engineering at the University of Granada, where I developed a broad foundation in software development, databases, systems and application architecture. I later completed postgraduate studies focused on software development, allowing me to deepen my understanding of how complex applications are designed and maintained.

My professional career began in enterprise software development. Over time, I moved deeper into Odoo and ERP engineering, working across backend development, business workflows, reporting, integrations, migrations and production support.

Working with ERP systems taught me that software is rarely isolated. It has to connect departments, people, databases, external platforms and operational processes. That experience shaped the way I approach every project, including applications built outside Odoo.

Today, I combine that enterprise background with backend and web technologies to build custom business software, integrations and digital products.

    Odoo module development, customization and integrations as the sole developer for the Swiss team. Working across Odoo v15–v18 with Python, PostgreSQL, XML and QWeb, deploying via Odoo.sh with direct client communication in English.
